Rio de Janeiro, Brasil
I guess inspiration is so subjective that it can be anywhere, some usual things like the color of the lights, the shape of the sand or the texture of the sea are inspiration for me, as a good maneuver or a big barrel. Usually i get inspired by all the beach scene itself, not just the surf.
Don’t know really to say. Maybe when i started to photograph. In that time i was not making anything different than the other but i considered the beginning of my study in surf photography.
I think most of all was naturally doing what i like to do. I never tried to step further than i can, not forcing things to happen.
Its hard to say nowadays, that are some many people doing photos and art that some things are most of the same. But when i begin to photograph i tried a lot to do some different angles or open framed photos. In my mind the most important thing was to do something different, and i used all of techniques i can to it.
Just to travel, get photos and know different people.
I have a basic canon camera. I think the gear can help a lot, but now we give much importance to it. The most important thing to a photographer is his own vision, the gear is just a machine.
Favourite Surfer: The one that make my photo look nice!
Favourite Surf Spot: I love Puerto Escondido.
Life idol: Can it be Einstein?
Favourite thing to do to relax: Read books, I really read a lot of them.
